Homoeopathy is a Scientific Medical system based on the “Law of Similia”, i.e. Let likes be treated by likes. It is a fast emerging science, owing to its holistic approach. Homoeopathy treats the person as a whole and not the disease so it removes the disease from its deepest place. It does not treat superficially, it treats the patient from within and it strengthens the immune system and thus gives a long lasting recovery. Homoeopathy is highly scientific, logical, safe, quick and extremely effective method of healing. This system of Medicine was founded by German Physician, Dr. Samuel Hahnemann in 1796.After originating from Germany, Homoeopathy spread all over the world. In India, Homoeopathy was introduced by a German Physician, Dr. John Martin Honigberger, who was called up on to treat Maharaja Ranjit Singh ji of Punjab who was suffering from the paralysis of vocal cords. This system rapidly spread in Bengal and by now it has spread all over India.

In the year 1973 Govt. of India by the act of parliament constituted the Central Council of Homoeopathy which regulates the standard of education and practice of Homoeopathic system of medicine in India.

According to WHO (World Health Organization), it is the second most popular System of Medicine in the world and is supported by Govt. of India. India has the largest Homoeopathic infrastructure in the world with an approximate of 3,00,000 qualified homoeopaths, 186 Homoeopathic colleges, about 9000 government clinics and 307 hospitals.
