Remembering the great warrior of Mewar, Maharana Pratap, who fought for his land and people with valour and his personality cannot be compared with anyone. To bestow him, Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Samiti started PRATAP GAURAV KENDRA RASHTRIYA TIRTH which is a new Tirth at Manoharpura, Badgaon in Udaipur city in the Rajasthan state of Bharat. Pratap Gaurav Kendra is located at Tiger Hills in the Bargaon area, near Manoharpura This project aims at providing information about historical idol maharana pratap of mewar and its past. The aim is to provide the details about the ancient heritage with the help of modern instruments. It is ready to show case glorious past of the nation in the language and medium that the most people understand audio and visual, 3d presentation, live mechanical model, water show, art galleries etc. The prime aim is to make people aware of the history of mewar warriors and about their pride journey.

Structure

To make dreams come true or symbolize the vision of Sri sohan singh ji,Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Samiti formed in 2002 and a piece of 25 bigha land was purchased in 2007. The expected budget of this project was 100 crore rupees. The money for this was also contributed by sangh swayamsewaks. This is spread in across 25 bighas of land, and would include exhibition of 60 painting related with the life of maharana pratap. he project gives bit by bit information armed with solid facts explaining that Bharat was a world leader and how it was plundered by invaders and how its boundaries reduced. You would be awe struck as you watch the world�s largest, 57 feet high statue of saintly king Maharana Pratap seated on a rock. There is Maharana Pratap exhibition where marvellous painting of Maharana Pratap life with caption in hindi and English language. The Gallaries present marvellous statue of Rajathan Heroes life with caption in hindi and English language. Its glimpses could be had in the Rajasthani Gaurav Deergha. This land of sand dunes continues to inspire us through the stories of the lives of stimulating men and women. Haldighati Yudh Vijay dirgha showcase the truth facts of haldighati war with live 3d scenes as like in 18 june 1576A.D Bharat Darshan dirgha showcase the geographical and cultural glory from ancient to present day Bharat. It highlights Takshashila, where student from world over used to come study. Sitting in one room one can visualize the prominent Piligrimage places, prominent rivers, holy cities, sapta puris, temples and significance of those places. The presentation throught light and sound makes it alive. Apart from educating the people about glourious past it also exhorts them to thinkly deeply why many of our sacred places like Kailash mansarovar are in the cluthes of china. Also there is ,Bharat Mata mandir, a 12 feet metal statue,which denotes that every iota of his life, every drop of blood of his body is dedicated to her service. The project has state of the art infrastructure to engage tourist for atleast two to three hours.

History/Story

The prominent motivation and key holder of this project is Vetern Sangh Pracharak Respected Sri sohan singh ji who wanted that Maharana Pratap should be the icon for the youth.. To materialise his vision, Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Samiti formed in 2002 and was purchased in 2007.The project to be inaugurated under first phase include Bharat Mata Mandir, Bharat Darshan Dirgha, Art Gallaries of Maharana Pratap painting, Mechanised Gallaries, Water pound, cloak room, 57 feet statue of Maharana Pratap, Marvellous statue of Swamibhakt Chetak , Meera Bai and Documentary film on Mewar history. Apart from this cafeteria, market, drinking water, parking etc are also ready. Till now 40 crores are spent Its foundation stone was laid by the rss general secretary Respected Sri Mohan Bhagwat {present in rss sarsanghchalak} in 2008. Param Pujaniya Sarsanghchalak Mohan Rao ji performed bhumi poojan and laid the foundation stone amongst the chanting of vedic mantras. The foundation function was also attednded by State Home minister Sri Gulab ji, Udaipur MP Srimati kiran ji, Ajmer MLA Sri Vasudev Ji, Miraj Group MD Sri Madan Ji. It was inaugurated also by RSS Param Pujaniya Sarsanghchalak Mohan Rao Ji on 28 november 2016. The event was attended by Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Ji, Rajasthan Home Minister Sri Gulab Ji and Central Tourism Minister Sri Mahesh Ji and many others.

Major Attractions

Mewar Sfoorthi Dirgha (Live Mechanical Model). It contains a series of exhibits, each one giving a fresh, a new message and a novel presentation. These exhibits potray like non-violence, perseverance, prayars, morality and family harmony using different multimedia technology like audio- animatronic figure, immersive projection and 3d diormas This dirgha underline the sacrifice of Pannadhay, intense devotion of Meera bai, jauhar by 16000 rajput women under the leadership of Maharani Padmini, Bappa Rawal, Mahrana Rajsingh etc.
