Indian Institute of Management, IIM Udaipur

Indian Institute of Management or IIM Udaipur was initiated by the Indian Government in order to provide the degree of Institute of National Importance (INI) degree to the management and research students. The need of IIM was inflated due to the increase in scope for the study in business and management courses which further provides confidence and grooming to the students to excel their ability to explore and set up a new venture which provides employment to them as well as further can hire new aspirants. Until 2007, 20 IIMS were established. The city of lakes known as historic Kingdom of Mewar established as an influential Rajputana Culture had endorsee in the field of education as well by compassing the approval for IIM campus in Udaipur in 2009. IIM officially inaugurated in 2011, shifted in Balicha area under the supervision of Indian Government in October 2016.

Infrastructure at IIM Udaipur

IIMU has been spread across 300 acres with 5-star green rating. Classrooms are well ventilated with air- conditioners, power sources on each desk and the projector fixed with high-end speakers for the better sound quality of video lectures and presentation. Being established after 20 campuses, IIMU is one step ahead in terms of new technology, infrastructure, teaching and representation. Wi-Fi with secure access on 24/7 is available to all students. Printing facilities are accessible in the student residence.

Socio-Cultural Life at IIM Udaipur

IIMU motive is not only to educate a student in terms of placement and scores but also to nurture an individual to upgrade their hobbies into the version of an independent venture. A campus where you learn to value yourself and leading the ascending batches to follow the path of positive thoughts, wisdom and right to be self- independent. Variegated clubs and committees aspire the students to participate in the dimensions of sports, singing, dancing, swimming, art, photography and nature.

Ranking and Affiliations of IIM Udaipur

IIM Udaipur has been recognized as top global B- schools receiving accreditation from the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). Following IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Calcutta, IIM Udaipur is on the fourth number to receive the recognition. Apart from AACSB, IIM Udaipur has been in the league of other recollections – QS World university ranking, Financial Times Master in Management, NIRF Ranking, UT Dallas Ranking and GBSN Membership.
